The plan gets chosen once a year. The administration happens every week — a new hire who needs enrolling, a termination that triggers a COBRA notice, an employee whose dependent aged off, a filing deadline nobody diarised.
In most small companies this lands on an office manager or a controller who already has a full job, and it lands without training. The failures are rarely dramatic. They are a missed notice, a late filing, an employee who thought they had coverage and did not.
We take the recurring work and the deadlines. What stays with you is the decisions.
What this costs and what it covers.
Is there an extra charge for any of this?
No. Benefits administration support comes with the brokerage relationship. Brokers are compensated by carrier commissions built into your premium, so there is no separate fee for the enrollment platform, the compliance review or the COBRA coordination.
Do you replace our payroll company?
No. We work alongside it. The enrollment platform handles benefits elections and carrier data; your payroll provider still runs payroll. Where the two can exchange data, we help set that up.
What if we are already out of compliance?
Find out sooner rather than later. The free ACA compliance checkup identifies gaps, and most issues are more fixable before a notice arrives than after. We are not attorneys and do not give legal advice — where something needs counsel, we will say so.
